Things at home are a little crazy right now.
My laptop crashed the day before finals, so I had to completely rewrite my papers at the last second. That was an adventure. I'm actually quite proud of myself because as crappy as I thought the rewrites were, I received very few criticisms from my instructors. Yay, me. I finished both classes with A's. Despite the good grades, though, I'm still pretty stressed out. Fixing my laptop has become Priority Numero Uno but until I get back from Phoenix sometime next week, I can't really do anything about it. I'm starting new classes today - American History since 1945 and Algebra I. Yeah. Not looking forward to that.
I went to Dave's last night. We watched a bunch of old sci-fi movies and vegged. Well, we didn't really watch the movies, we just sat there and made fun of them. I love old sci-fi, I really do, but sometimes, I just want to sit back and point out how ridiculous the props are. By the end of the night, we came to the conclusion that Italian filmmakers really love their Plexiglas and red Kool-Aid. (It makes more sense when you watch Wild, Wild Planet and War of the Planets in one sitting.)
Aside from that, the past few weeks have been pretty slow. Stressful, but slow. I'm heading up to Sam's tomorrow night, which is a relief, because I could really use some time away from home. Things here are getting too weird. One minute, I think I have things under control, but then someone says something to completely disrupt the mojo. Honestly, why ruin a good thing with something so stupid? Take the hint already. Jeez...
Smells like my early dinner is ready. Yay. :)
A little loaded, she was stealing another breath. I love my baby to death.
