Getting back to work.

I took a week off after I finished up my classes and it's been extremely difficult to get back up to a reasonable daily quota at work. I don't have to reach a certain amount per day, but I think it's good to work toward goals. Plus, the more I earn and the more I manage to save, the sooner I can get to Europe.

I'm determined.

I went to Lake Havasu the other day and reconfigured my accounts. I had to close out my college checking and open an advanced checking for my personal account. I also opened a new checking account specifically for tax purposes and there's another savings account attached to it for my Europe fund. I spent a good hour and a half with my banker figuring everything out, but it was well worth it. :)

I have a payout coming my way soon. Can't wait.

I also got a refund check from school in the mail recently and according to my school account, all my bills are paid, so I can actually keep this one. Although I suppose I could have saved it, I decided to invest in Rosetta Stone. I got the full five-disc suite for German! :D The package also comes with online access to Rosetta Stone communities and live tutoring sessions from native speakers, which is awesome.

Personally, I think it was a good purchase. It came out to $520 with tax and shipping, but it was a great buy. I want to learn German in the worst way and it'll be good for me to know the language before I go jetting off to Europe. If things go my way, I'm hoping to spend at least two weeks in Germany, and I'm really hoping to make a few friends through online travel communities like CouchSurfing so that I can practice my German with them.

The trip is so far away. August of next year. But I'm so excited for it.

Going to see Sam on Thursday. Les Mis on Sunday. I'm hoping it's going to be a good weekend.

Es wird Abend, eh' dein Tag begann...
