So, I'm sitting out on the front porch swing and relaxing after a long night. I spent most of yesterday cleaning house with Mom, which was exhausting. We're still putting the place together after the move in October, but we're almost done. It's a relief having most of the work behind us. I really don't want to spend the rest of spring unpacking boxes and reorganizing closets and such.
I've been a little stressed out lately. I think I'm letting a conversation I had with an unnamed subject get to me because ever since that night, I've been getting more and more irritated about certain things in my life. Things I can't really change just yet, despite the insurmountable desire to change them. Right now, it's really just a matter of keeping myself together and not letting the pressure get to me, but it's much easier said than done.
Maybe I'm thinking about it too much.
There's just a lot going on right now. I really need a vacation. I'm really looking forward to seeing Samantha next week. We haven't gotten to spend much time together, which sucks, and I think hanging out with her will be just what I need. The trip to Las Vegas is coming up, too, which is something else I'm excited about. I finally got around to booking the hotel the other day, so pretty much everything is set. It'll be a nice getaway from all the drama here in TheMiddleOfNowhereville.
And on a completely unrelated note, the gardener finally got here this morning (and woke me up...), so all the weeds in the lawn are gone and I finally got to plant that grass seed. Definitely one of the strangest things that I've done at four in the morning, haha.
Aside from blogging from the porch swing, of course.
